Speaking, Workshops & Retreats
Keynotes rooted in the truth that joy isn’t the destination; it’s the doorway.
I speak from a simple but radical truth:
joy is not the prize at the end of healing, it’s the path that makes healing possible.
My work lives at the intersection of story, embodiment, and nervous-system wisdom. I teach audiences how small, honest moments of joy, awe, wonder, and delight become the first cracks of light in a life shaped by survival. Not as an escape, not as a performance, but as the doorway back to safety, presence, and aliveness.
I create spaces where people can breathe again.
Where their darkness is not judged, but understood.
Where goodness becomes something they can trust.
Where the body is invited back into the conversation.
Where healing begins through soft, steady truths rather than force.
Whether through a keynote, an intimate workshop, or a retreat setting, my teachings serve those learning to live beyond survival; people who crave a gentler way of being in their bodies, their memories, their relationships, and their stories.
Offerings
-
A keynote on the quiet, practical ways joy becomes the first doorway to healing.
This talk reframes joy from a reward into a path, one built through micro-moments of awe, delight, and breath that gently expand the nervous system’s capacity for safety. Ideal for mental health organizations, trauma-informed spaces, educators, and communities seeking a grounded, accessible way into healing.
-
A workshop or keynote exploring how the body carries truth long before the mind can name it.
Participants learn how to listen to subtle cues, rebuild trust with their internal world, and relate to their bodies through gentleness instead of fear. Rooted in somatic wisdom, trauma-sensitive guidance, and embodied presence practices.
-
An intimate exploration of how story becomes a lifeline, especially for those who grew up unheard, unseen, or silenced.
I guide audiences through understanding the role of narrative in healing, belonging, and reclaiming identity. Offered as a keynote, fireside conversation, or creative writing workshop.
-
A keynote or group workshop designed for individuals transitioning out of survival mode and into something steadier.
Using my Enjoying Joy framework, participants learn what it means to step into safety slowly, respectfully, and sustainably, without bypassing, perfectionism, or overwhelm. Ideal for support groups, therapeutic communities, and women’s organizations.
-
A reading and conversation rooted in the emotional and embodied landscape of Everwoven.
I offer insights into writing trauma with tenderness, navigating estrangement, healing through embodiment, and building a life grounded in truth, softness, and joy. Perfect for book clubs, libraries, conferences, and academic settings.
-
Retreat offerings that weave nervous-system literacy, soft embodiment practices, storywork, and the philosophy that joy is a gateway to safety.
Participants learn to find steadiness in their bodies, reconnect with inner knowing, and create space for joy to become something they can actually hold.

For organizations or communities wanting something tailored, I collaborate to design experiences based on your needs; from private gatherings to trauma-informed trainings, keynote integrations, or multi-day workshops.
